Open ended idea
Two ideas. 1. Allow arts as a subject for equivalency in the US curriculum. Currently Art, Music and Drama are not regarded as valid for Equivalency. This is a shocking state of affairs. 2. There are amazing options for the arts through the IB CP (for example Savanah College of Art & Design offer a full Career-related partnership). This is recognised worldwide - except in Dubai. This needs to change! The IB CP should not be limited to BTEC- it was never meant to be and the BTEC is an incredibly limited option for the majority of international students. Open up the CP to other partnerships, just as it is run everywhere else in the world.
