Open ended idea
A dedicated exhibition space that can also function as a workshop where students across the school can come view student work in a gallery format. Opening the space to students who would then be able to access art on a regular basis could make art more accessible and less elitist for people. Often people feel that fine art 'isn't for them' and view it as something only for select people who are studying art. It could also provide students with experience in curation, exhibition staging, gallery exhibitionism, event management, PR and marketing. It could act as a space where multiple artistic disciplines are visible - from stage set production to fine art sculpture and performance.
