Open ended idea: One powerful idea to improve arts and design education in K-12 private schools in Dubai is to integrate cultural heritage and social themes into the curriculum. As a Social Studies teacher, I see a significant opportunity to connect arts education with students' understanding of their own identity, history, and the social issues that impact their communities. For example, we could introduce an "Art for Social Awareness" program that encourages students to explore and express topics like environmental sustainability, cultural diversity, and social justice through various art forms.
