In my opinion Arts should be given a certain level of importance from an elective perspective, for instance , many people could probably use their time in school for other electives such as Coding, Stem etc. but the ones who actually find interest In art and want to engage in art should be given full opportunity. As a conclusion , by experience in my school , art is given as a subject which means, the ones who find no interest are forced to engage, and the ones eager to create are limited to resources. so it’s best to give it as an elective to the ones who choose arts, and the ones who choose arts must be given all the resources, time , practice ,engagement etc
